Sundial Dental is a five-location dental practice on the Mid North Coast of NSW. They’ve been treating patients for over 50 years across clinics in Port Macquarie, Wauchope, Laurieton, Taree, and Kempsey, with a team of six dentists offering everything from check-ups to All-on-4 implants.

Their old website didn’t reflect the size or quality of the practice. It wasn’t generating enquiries from Google, it looked dated, and it treated five clinics as an afterthought rather than a feature. They needed a multi-location dental website that worked as hard as their team does.

We built Sundial a 35+ page website with dedicated pages for 18 treatments, 5 locations, and 6 dentists, plus online booking, Google reviews integration, and local SEO targeting five towns. Want something similar? Check our dental website design page or view pricing.

The challenge

Multi-location dental websites are harder to build than single-clinic sites. Every location needs its own page with the right address, phone number, and team members. Google treats each clinic separately for local search, so the SEO structure has to support five locations ranking independently.

Then there’s the content. Eighteen treatment pages, five location pages, six dentist profiles, and a FAQ section. All of it had to be specific to dentistry and written in plain language that patients actually understand.

The site also needed to work for two audiences at once:

  • Existing patients who know Sundial and want to book quickly
  • New patients who found them through Google and need convincing before they pick up the phone

For nervous patients (dental anxiety is more common than most people think), the site needed to feel welcoming. Not clinical. Not corporate. Approachable.

What we built

Sundial Dental website homepage on desktop

Homepage and navigation

The homepage opens with “Your Trusted Dental Team on the Mid North Coast” and a “Find Your Local Clinic” button. No scrolling required to take action.

Below that, treatments are organised into four visual cards: General, Reconstructive, Cosmetic, and Orthodontics. Each links to detailed treatment pages. The navigation uses a mega menu so patients can jump straight to Invisalign or wisdom teeth removal without clicking through multiple layers.

Five location pages with local SEO

Each clinic has a dedicated page targeting “dentist in [town]” searches. These aren’t copy-pasted templates. Each location page has the clinic’s address, phone number (click-to-call on mobile), team members who work at that location, and a unique introduction.

We implemented LocalBusiness schema markup for each clinic separately. Google knows exactly where each location is, what services they offer, and when they’re open.

Trust signals and social proof

A Google reviews carousel sits on the homepage. Over 30 real patient testimonials with star ratings and the Google logo, so visitors see genuine feedback without leaving the site. Several reviews mention specific dentists by name, which builds trust in a way stock photography never can.

Each dentist has their own profile page with a photo and bio. For a practice where patients often choose a dentist by name, this matters. It also helps with Google’s E-E-A-T signals, since named practitioners carry more authority than anonymous “our team” sections.

18 treatment pages

Every treatment from check-ups to All-on-4 implants has its own page. Each one explains the procedure in plain language, covers what patients can expect, and answers the questions people actually search for.

We avoided clinical jargon where possible. “We’ll numb the area so you won’t feel anything” works better than “local anaesthesia will be administered.” The goal was to make patients feel informed, not intimidated.

The result

Sundial Dental now has a website that matches the quality of their practice. Patients can find their local clinic, read about specific treatments, see real Google reviews, and book an appointment without picking up the phone.

The site ranks for local dental searches across all five Mid North Coast towns. Each location page targets its own town, and the 18 treatment pages pick up search traffic for specific procedures like “dental implants mid north coast” and “invisalign [town]”.

The Google reviews carousel on the homepage gives new visitors the confidence to book with a practice they haven’t visited before. For a dental practice, trust is everything. People don’t pick a dentist from a brochure. They pick one after reading what other patients have to say.
